Buckhurst Hill Lacrosse - A brief history
Buckhurst Hill Lacrosse Club is entering its 109th year of existence, now the only league club to remain in Essex.
Set up by a contingent of Woodford Lacrosse players back in 1912, the club won the Intermediate flags in their second season - this fantastic picture shows that victorious team, complete with some superb haircuts and better moustaches.
Captain Hough went on to lead Bucks to Senior Flags victory in 1925.

A great brief history of Bucks can be found on the Centurions website here:
Buckhurst Hill currently have one men's team, playing in SEMLA East North Division.
Following a local restructure, Bucks also play in the local league London Division 3
Home games are played at Roding Lane, where we have played since 1912 and are lucky enough to be tennants with a great clubhouse and licensed bar.
Buckhurst Hill have joined forces with Essex Blades Lacrosse Club, based at University of Essex, to help grow both clubs, the sport, and provide students with a great entry point into SEMLA league lacrosse.

We provide coaching and refereeing support, and organise an annual fixture between our two teams.
